ANIMATED SHORT | 'Inspiring Knowledge' | Trix
ARNOLD | MAYA | AFTER EFFECTS
This 'dream project', as it is referred to by the team of Trix, delivers the message of the importance of education in all countries of the world. Initially set to only be a power point presentation the team of Trix convinced the client to create this wonderful short, which is really touching and couldn't deliver the message any better. The rendering was done at RebusFarm as they trust the service and are very happy with it, especially when it comes to deadlines.
Alfonso de la Cruz and his team created this lovely animated short movie about his childhood. Almost every scene of this short is based on an actual experience he made when he was growing up with his grandmother in Juarez, Mexico. When it came to the rendering part they were very happy about the RebusFarm render service as they calculated that it would take years to render it on their own machines.
The one thing that saved the project was a remote render farm. RebusFarm was just brilliant. Using only a laptop I was able to render a huge amount of displacements and sub scattering shaders which would have never been possible otherwise. Render time 120 hours locally vs. 20 minutes on the farm - you can't resist this power!
